Thomas Godoj

The tour will showcase the powerful evolution of an artist who has consistently forged his own path for years, far removed from the mainstream but very close to his audience. The fact that Thomas Godoj is still going strong really only comes as a surprise to those who have never actually listened to him. A lot has happened since his victory on DSDS in 2008 – yet rather than getting lost in TV shows and headlines, the charismatic singer-songwriter has consciously chosen music over the tabloid scene.

His path has led him away from the hype, towards honest rock music with attitude and a loyal fanbase that has grown over the years and now consists not only of listeners but also of supporters of his albums. With a unique voice, Godoj also tackles topics in his songs that are often otherwise left out – without filters, without compromise. Over the years, his sound has evolved into a distinctive blend of alternative rock, metal elements and catchy choruses: powerful, edgy, rousing. The upcoming album, which is once again being realised through crowdfunding with the help of his community, promises a special combination of atmospheric depth and raw rock energy.

It proves once again that Thomas Godoj is not just another polished music project; he embodies a way of life. And his music is exactly that – full of power, authentic, moving.

KREUZWEGE 2026 will bring precisely this energy to the stage: in electrifying rock shows with a full band line-up as well as in stripped-back acoustic sessions that reveal a different, intimate side to the artist. These contrasts are what make his live performances so special and give you a sense of why he has long held a firm place in the German music scene – and why he belongs there.
