Greek pianist and composer Tania Giannouli and Norwegian trumpeter and composer Nils Petter Molvær are among the most distinctive voices on the European jazz scene.

The two artists, who have previously performed at the Pierre Boulez Saal in other ensembles, recently presented their first duo project and are now introducing themselves in Berlin with this new lineup.
Their elegant and subtle compositions, situated between stillness and gentle movement, blend diverse influences ranging from cinematic elements to Arabic-inspired jazz and traditional Indian music.
In the first part of the program, both will perform a solo set.
