A discourse and concert performance on climate and environmental issues
For many years now, the musicians of the Staatskapelle Berlin have been advocating for the major, pressing issues of climate change, environmental protection, and sustainability through various initiatives and projects.

In 2026/27, these activities will continue, both in the form of a programmatically unique “Climate Concert” and the “Sustainable Listening” format, which has been in place since 2022 and takes place on Rehearsal Stage 1 at the Staatsoper’s rehearsal center, combining music and discourse in stimulating and surprising ways.
