Turn on the music, get the paper out and let’s go! In this experimental format, a large sheet of paper becomes a shared space for movement. The body becomes a tool, movement leaves its mark, and a collective image emerges from many individual actions.

The music plays, the movement begins. As soon as it stops, everyone freezes. A new track, a new rhythm, a new movement; sometimes slow and focused, sometimes exuberant and wild. Layer by layer, the paper changes, absorbing the group’s movements.

Participants observe what happens when they move freely: how does the body change when they are tense? What happens when they let go? How much space do they take up? And how do many individual movements come together to form a collective composition?

The resulting large-scale collaborative work remains in the ‘Space for Material Experience’ and becomes part of the space

Please note: This format thrives on free and physical movement and is intended as a safe space for collective experimentation. All participants should be prepared to move in wild, spontaneous and unfamiliar ways, and to rediscover their own bodies in the process. At the same time, each person decides for themselves how far they wish to go.
