Stingrays, Muscle Power, and More—Harnessing Energy from New Ideas for the Future

Inspired by fascinating examples like electric rays, muscle power, and other surprising energy sources, you’ll explore the exhibition and develop your own ideas about how people might generate and use energy in the future.

Imagine what your everyday life might look like if you thought about and used energy differently. Together with other participants, you’ll find answers to questions like: How do people want to live in the future? What do they need energy for, and how will they use it? There are no limits to your imagination!

In this three-day summer workshop, taking place from September 3 to 5, you’ll learn about the methods of futures studies.

On the first day, the focus will be on the exhibition, interviews, and developing your own future scenarios. On the following days, you’ll bring your ideas to life and create prototypes of your visions for the future. On the last day, everyone will present their ideas and visions together.

• The summer workshop is open to children and teens ages 10 and up.
