In 2027, the legendary band will continue to perform live on stage, seamlessly building on their acclaimed tours of recent years.

What began in 1964 in Meissen, Saxony, has long since become an integral part of German-language rock history. But nostalgia alone isn’t enough for this band: Today, STERN-COMBO MEISSEN sounds fresher, more powerful, and more imaginative than ever.

With their 2024 album “Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra”—which was celebrated and highly acclaimed—the band impressively demonstrated that artistic ambition and musical innovation naturally go hand in hand, even after more than 60 years. In this work, mastermind Manuel Schmid combines major themes of human history with an emotional musical language—inspired by one of Europe’s most significant archaeological finds.

STERN-COMBO MEISSEN’s 2027 live tour promises an intense concert experience bridging the past and the present.

Drawing from over a dozen studio albums, a unique musical panorama unfolds night after night. New compositions meet timeless classics such as “Der Kampf um den Südpol,” “Weißes Gold,” “Der weite Weg,” “Also was soll aus mir werden,” and “Wir sind die Sonne.”

A highlight of the tour will be the already sold-out “OSTROCK Festival Cruise 2027,” during which the band will set sail aboard the AIDAluna from May 31 to June 7, together with SILLY, Dieter “MASCHINE” Birr, and KARUSSELL.
