The state representations of Brandenburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Schleswig-Holstein, situated between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, hold an open day every year on German Unity Day.
