And do you want to talk directly with the playwrights afterward and share your feedback? Then come to our staged readings for the Berlin Play Award!
In November 2026, the Berlin Play Award for young audiences will be presented once again. The expert jury—which includes young representatives—will select the five strongest plays from all submissions, and directing students from the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin will stage excerpts from these plays as staged readings for you.
The program will be divided into a section for children’s plays and one for youth plays. After the readings, there will be time and space for discussion. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the playwrights, ask questions, and share your impressions.
