With horses, riders and music

By the light of the lanterns, everyone makes their way through the pre-winter open-air museum. As dusk falls, young and old gather in the village square. Together, they hear the story of Saint Martin and the beggar.

Afterwards, the lantern procession winds its way through woods and meadows, past gardens and replica medieval houses. As tradition dictates, Saint Martin rides at the head of the procession.

The fairy-tale witch Silberzweig accompanies the proceedings with stories. The band ‘Wolgemut’ provides the music, and everyone is invited to sing along.

Important: Please bring your own lanterns!
