Don't be afraid of eight legs.

Many people feel fear or disgust toward our eight-legged friends. But spiders are by no means scary—on the contrary: they come in an astonishing variety of shapes and colors.

Thanks to their distinctive markings and body shapes, many species can be identified even without much prior knowledge. To experience this firsthand, we’d like to take a closer look at the spiders in Spreepark and learn more about the species around us.

After an introduction to spider biology, we’ll head to Spreepark together. There, we’ll track down different species and identify them with the help of our expert guide, who will provide fascinating background information.

Afterward, we’ll examine the animals we’ve found under a magnifying glass and discover details that would otherwise remain hidden to the naked eye.
