On the first day of school, Bibiche and Undine meet for the first time. As they get to know each other, Bibiche tells Undine about the spectre of racism that follows her everywhere and affects her daily life. Undine wants to understand what lies behind it all and asks lots of questions.
Together, the two girls decide to stand up to the spectre. With humour, poetry and a great deal of heart, the reading explores friendship, empathy and the courage to take a stand against exclusion and racism.
