Chor cantores Minores
In the liturgical form of Vespers, psalms and the Magnificat are performed, accompanied by congregational singing, organ music, a short address and a prayer.
The festival kicks off with a performance by the next generation: the Cantores Minores, Berlin’s only children’s and youth choir specialising in early music. They are accompanied by vocal soloists and a continuo ensemble. The programme features a distinctly Berlin repertoire, including a Magnificat by Johann Crüger.

- Cantores Minores
- Gerhard Oppelt, conductor
Works performed:
- Works by Heinrich Schütz, Johann Crüger and others
Free admission, donations welcome | Duration approx. 45 mins, no interval
