Concert recording by the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra
On 21 February, turn your attention inwards with ‘Stille und Umkehr’ (Silence and Return), the final orchestral work by Bernd Alois Zimmermann. This will be followed by Anton Bruckner’s final ‘Symphony No. 9 in D minor, WAB 109’, the monumental Ninth, whose finale Bruckner was unable to complete. This Austrian symphonist’s final reach for the stars ends with the third movement. Vladimir Jurowski conducts the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra.
A recording from the RSB concert on 26 January 2027 will be presented. The Spatial Sound System in the Planetarium Hall, with 49 loudspeakers and 4 subwoofers, combined with the fascinating starry sky created by the Zeiss projector, offers an overwhelming experience for both the eyes and the ears.
Look forward to breathtaking sounds beneath the marvellous starry sky!
A collaboration with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and Deutschlandfunk Kultur.
