fairy tales - really grim!

Two actors, an original text and a small stage are all that is needed for an exciting theater experience! Once upon a time - Grimm's Fairy Tales in the Glass Palace.

The specially designed format, which offers two half-hour fairy tales per performance, illustrates how closely the idiosyncratic appeal of these stories, their special comedy and the spooky tension are linked to everyone's deep-rooted fears and hopes.

In no time, the stage is transformed into an opulently set table with something for everyone: highly entertaining joy.

Sleeping Beauty

Be a child again. Isn't that what everyone wants!? Letting go again, following your inner instinct to play and simply being able to ask naive questions again: This is something that few adults are allowed to make use of. It is a child's infantile passion for play and creativity that we adults can learn the most from and that is deeply rooted in each of us. Being a child is not a phase of life, but a part of being human. It is also slumbering within you and is just waiting to be kissed awake from its Sleeping Beauty sleep. May the gaming never end again!

“Rapunzel, let me down your hair...”, words of a fairy tale that are at least as well known as its authors, who recorded them in writing for posterity. Everyone knows this fairy tale: a story of the fulfillment of the most long-held wishes and the first great and everlasting love. But if we let this fairy tale become reality, it begins to take possession of us and suddenly the characters become part of us. Suddenly it is the fairy tale that observes and questions the viewer. Everything is turned upside down and abysses open up that can only find expression in an opulent baroque opera.

Little Red Riding Hood

What a pretty girl, all walking innocence, what could go wrong... Well, we were asked to remove this fairy tale from the children's program: upset parents had too much to explain to their children. If you read it aloud, it is quite edifying. Whatever you think about it remains private. But if you carry it out literally, it becomes explosive. Because this wolf actually only has one thing on his mind: ... – Right, grandmother, what did you think? And how does he devour her in bed? That's right: With a single tap, we'd be happy to play it for you. No one, not even the audience, leaves this fairy tale as sinlessly virginal as they entered it. Let yourself be tempted by Little Red Riding Hood, get off the path and discover the wolf in you!
