Performance · German Premiere by Jasna L. Vinovrški

This work explores care as embodied labor and examines how care work shapes bodies, identities, and social relationships.

At the center are three performers whose lives intertwine artistic, educational, administrative, and family responsibilities—revealing forms of work that, despite their indispensability to everyday life, remain largely invisible. Through choreography, storytelling, and humor, the performers’ bodies become living archives of care, responsibility, and resilience.

The work draws on a long history of women from the former Yugoslavia who work as care workers across Europe, particularly in Germany, where migrant care work remains a central yet often undervalued part of the care system. In this way, the work addresses the issues of aging societies, labor shortages, and the growing care crisis in European societies.
