Sicilian Street Food Festivals

For two days, the festival will transform the venue into a little piece of Italy: over 20 stalls featuring Sicilian street food, from cannoli and ice cream to traditional savory dishes like arancini, caponata, anelletti al forno, and much more. Complemented by artisanal specialties made with pistachios, citrus fruits, and other island highlights that capture the essence of Sicily in every bite.

But the festival goes beyond cuisine:

It is a true Sicilian celebration where music, culture, and energy create a lively atmosphere.

On stage, setting the mood:

• I Beddi from Acireale, Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, with their rousing tarantella and authentic Sicilian sound;
• I Pizzicati, Saturday, April 25, with Sicilian folk music and traditional rhythms;
• Marenèra, Sunday, April 26, with a different yet complementary vibe
• A DJ set by Marco Meli to get young and old alike dancing.

The choice of dates is no coincidence:

The festival takes place on April 25, Italy’s Liberation Day, which DUO Sicilian also wishes to celebrate with a moment of sharing—through food, music, and culture. Values that bring people together and foster community.

During the two days, visitors can also participate in masterclasses on pistachios, granita, cannoli, and other traditional Sicilian treats (on-site registration) and discover an entertainment program for the little ones, making the festival an event for the whole family.

DUO Sicilian cordially invites you to an exclusive experience: a private event for the press and selected guests, taking place on Monday, April 20, April at 6:00 p.m. at Labor (Liegnitzer Str. 15, 10999 Berlin).

At this pre-launch event ahead of the public opening, DOU Sicilian will not only introduce you to the team and the full menu, but you will also have the opportunity to:

• take part in an ice cream workshop and taste freshly made ice cream;
• discover granita, the historic Sicilian drink, freshly prepared;
• enjoy an aperitif with a tasting of selected Sicilian products.
