Over 100 exhibiting companies and institutions will be presenting innovations in the field of theatre and stage technology at the trade fair.
The Showtech Congress, organised by the German Theatre Technology Society, has established itself in recent years as a key platform for professional exchange, knowledge transfer and the further training of experts in theatre and stage technology. As a two-day specialist event, the congress will take place on 2 and 3 June alongside the trade fair, bringing together international players from the sector.
The programme combines current developments in stage technology, design, culture and communication and focuses on key future issues facing the European theatre landscape. Keynotes, presentations and panel discussions will explore topics including sustainable production methods, energy efficiency, immersive technologies, health and safety at work, and current challenges facing the sector.
