Children's Dance Company Sasha Waltz & Guests
At the beginning of June, the children and young people of Sasha Waltz & Guests' children's dance company will once again be guests on the Radialsystem stage: In their annual showing, the three oldest children's dance groups will present current creations that they have worked on over the past year for the first time.

Music inspires movement - but can one's own body also become an instrument and make sounds ring out?
The children of children's dance group 2 (9 to 11 years) deal with the relation and resonance between sound and body in the piece "Voices" under the direction of Alessandra Defazio and Annapaola Leso.
They will be accompanied by live music by pianist and percussionist Alexander Nickmann. With the Children's Dance Group 3 (11 to 14 years), Gabriel Galindez Cruz is working on a new creation.
The piece plays with the idea of the "line" as an impulse for movements and the dynamic design of the stage. The young dancers experiment with forms to define their own spaces, break boundaries and open up whole new universes.
The young people of dance group 4 (14+ years) present an extended version of the piece "TEXERE", which they started in 2022.
The term "TEXERE" comes from Latin and means to weave or braid. The choreography of the same name by group leader and choreographer Gabriel Galindez Cruz draws inspiration from author Eduardo Galeano and photographer Sebastião Salgado. The themes of the two South American artists are interwoven with childhood dreams, youthful disagreements and life's fundamental questions. From this an encounter of the body with fantasy, beauty, innocence and color unfolds.
