He won an Oscar for the German-German drama *The Lives of Others*; he has already received numerous awards for all his legendary roles on the theatre stage, in German and international cinema, and on television.

Bernadette Schoog
Since 1995, he has regularly toured the country’s concert halls with his “Rhythmus-Boys”, a swing band, and has also won three jazz awards for this work. And as if all that weren’t enough, he also continues to write some truly wonderful books.
Most recently, in February this year, he thoroughly captivated the audience at the Renaissancetheater with a reading from his stories about Venice.
Since 2010, Ulrich Tukur has also appeared in the special episodes of the ‘Tatort’ series set in Hesse as the witty State Criminal Police investigator Murot, causing a stir every time with his extraordinary cases.
There’ll be plenty to talk about during the matinee with him at ‘Schoog im Dialog’ on 15 November at 11.30 am, featuring songs and stories, as during his chat with Bernadette Schoog about his eventful life, he’ll also be performing a few of his wonderful Italian songs on the accordion.
