The last exhibition this year in the Pyramid exhibition center will open on December 12, 2021. The title BETWEEN TIMES not only marks the period between the years in which it will be seen (until February 12, 2022).
The time before Christmas, during the rogue nights and at the beginning of each year has its own magic and magic. But many social and political aspects also bear the quality of the “in between”. And of course it's about the strange nature of TIME itself.
The eight artists Ilona Albrecht, Anja Großwig, Josephine Hans, Fee Kleiß, Vera Müller, Matthias Schwelm, Anja Tchepets and Oliver Teuscher approach the topic from very different positions and use different artistic forms of expression:
Paintings, collages, photography, video art, ceramics, objects and installations await visitors with free entry on the five levels of the exhibition house, as I said, even between the years.

Additional information
Opening hours:
Monday - Friday: 10 am - 6 pm (and by appointment)
Directions:
U5: Hellersdorf
Tram: M6, 18 Jenaer Straße
TO LOCATION:
The pyramid exhibition center was designed by the architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte. ICC (International Congress Centrum) won the competition of the new Town Hall building for the Berlin-Hellersdorf district in the early 1990s.
On the site Riesaer Str. / Corner Jenaer Str. Stood at that time the unfinished shell of the still planned in GDR times Hellersdorfer police headquarters. It was exciting that this shell had to be included in the planning of the new building. The town hall was then never used, because the district parliament decided differently and its town hall in the "Hellen Mitte", built in the mid-1990s district center Hellersdorf, but stayed.
It opened in 1994 as a municipal exhibition center with a show Berlin sculptors of their doors. Since then, around 200 exhibitions have been presented here and concerts and performances have been organized.
