Alpine Music

Robert Walser (1878–1956), a Swiss writer admired by Hermann Hesse, Kurt Tucholsky and Franz Kafka, has not really made his mark to this day, despite the profound yet whimsical messages that characterise his works.

Georg Schwark, former principal tuba player with the RSB, takes on the texts. His former ‘musical family’, known as ‘Samtblech’, provides the accompanying music.

Line-up

  • Simone Gruppe, flugelhorn
  • Georg Schwark, narrator
  • Anne Mentzen, horn
  • Hannes Hölzl, euphonium
