Romeo and Juliet

Juliet and Romeo, the children of the bitterly feuding Capulet and Montague families, meet at a ball at the Capulet house and fall in love. Love bursts upon them like a force of nature, like the most natural thing in the world, like the greatest miracle. Love strikes, blossoms, shines, and hits them like a club to the head. Both know it cannot be, for their families—the richest in Verona—hate each other—and have done so for generations.
