For over 28 years, Roland Jankowsky has played the somewhat eccentric Inspector Overbeck in the popular ZDF crime series *Wilsberg*. In the show, he enjoys playing the cool cop, but keeps putting his foot in his mouth. Nevertheless, his role has since achieved cult status.

In 2018, TV viewers voted him “Germany’s Coolest TV Detective.” Roland Jankowsky, the actor behind Overbeck, has been touring very successfully with his crime story readings for the past ten years alongside his filming work. Here, his path is paved less with blunders and more with corpses.
In what has now become a six-part series, Jankowsky consistently reads short stories by various authors that are characterized by surprising twists, wordplay, and grotesque situations—and always end unexpectedly.
