The Pausify Museum Edition.
In collaboration with Berlin’s largest reading community, Pausify, the Georg Kolbe Museum invites you to enjoy a special experience at the museum. Amongst the artworks, you can read, crochet or engage in creative activities.

Visitors are welcome to bring along their own book or creative project and spend an hour in quiet, focused reflection within the museum’s premises. The focus is on a peaceful time for deep concentration, creativity and the opportunity to meet others.
Afterwards, visitors are invited to chat in the exhibition or at Café Benjamine.
The public guided tour taking place beforehand at 2.00 pm offers insights into the current exhibition ‘everybody’, as well as into the history of the building and the museum, and is included in the ticket price. Tickets are limited.
Programme:
- 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm Public guided tour
- 3.00 pm – 3.30 pm Arrival & start of the Pausify Museum Edition
- 3.30 pm – 4.30 pm: 1-hour shared period of quiet reading and reflection
- From 4.30 pm Discussion in the exhibition or at Café Benjamine
NOTES:
We recommend bringing a seat cushion. Stools will be provided by the museum. By taking part, you consent to photography and video recording.
No creative projects involving paint, water or potentially hazardous substances and materials may be carried out in the museum galleries.
