We’ve all been there: waiting for the first snow of winter and the joy it brings when the first flakes begin to fall, the silence and the crunch under your shoes.

Snow is brilliant; for a while, the world looks completely different. But what if you’ve never seen snow before? Mr Eichhorn, the hedgehog and the bear sleep through the winter; they don’t know what snow looks like, or how it feels or sounds. The goat said that snow is white, wet and cold – so the three of them set off in search of it; it can’t be that difficult, can it?

A story about friendship, about how our own visions and ideas might align with those of others – or perhaps not. And, of course, a story about searching and finding.

Mr Eichhorn, the hedgehog and the bear are all looking for the same thing, but each of them finds something different. Just as they’re at a loss, the first snow falls. They don’t need to go looking for it at all; it falls right under their noses. They just have to stay awake…

Do we always have to search so hard for what we want to find? Or does it find us all by itself...
