Get Creative in the Garden
Participants can explore the flora of the botanical garden through art and capture it in poetic images—using plant-based dyes on paper.
In doing so, they’ll use the technique of shadow painting: shadows from nature are transformed, as if by magic, into original, expressionistic, or very subtly colored still lifes. They’ll paint with natural pigments, some of which they’ll make themselves. Let the shadows shine in color!
