Braiding is a craft practiced worldwide that has not yet been mastered by any machine. The interactive exhibition combines experience, knowledge, innovation and stories about braiding.
Who braids? With what? Why?
The guided tour traces the development of a craft that is closely linked to issues such as economic growth, globalization and social injustice. A special highlight is the walk-through "woven garden" by artist Olaf Holzapfel.
