Prometheus is confused. Like many young people, he asks himself: Who or what defines me? What does my existence mean in relation to my surroundings? What drives me to either preserve existing orders or seek to break them?

He encounters Gaia, who reminds him that the world’s resources are finite. Driven by his own values, he constantly strives to do “the right thing” and, in doing so, comes into conflict with the ruler Kronos.

Together with Zeus, Prometheus completely disrupts the order of the Titans’ galaxy. They both fight for their own vision of a good world. But what is a good world? What is the right thing to do?

Greek mythology has much to say about relationships. The play is based on Franz Fühmann’s *Prometheus—The Battle of the Titans*. Inspired by drag, the production uses video projections and other elements to establish a connection to the present day.

Anna C. Ortmann is an actor, theater educator, lecturer, and workshop leader.

Helena Kauschke is a cultural and media educator, theater scholar, and performer. Both also perform as drag kings. When they met at a show, they came up with the idea of collaborating as FLUIDUM to create a drag-inspired play.
