Over the weekend, ‘Pause on Quantum Matter’ serves as a communal space for reading, relaxing and discussing.

The public is invited to immerse themselves, amidst beanbags and books, in a wide range of pluralistic perspectives on theorems in quantum science. These explore how technologies can be used to expand our understanding of the social realities arising from these theorems with new interpretations, and to bring these interpretations to life. Building on the contributions by Cécile Malaspina, Muindi Fanuel Muindi and Sha Xin Wei to this year’s edition of Fertile Void, the library focuses on ‘eavesdropping’ on quantum particles and how people can perceive them through their senses.

Please note:

To assist with planning, all guests at Berlin Science Week are asked to register in advance for a Festival Centre Pass.

Visitors to Fertile Void who do not wish to, or are unable to, provide personal data may still gain entry without a Festival Centre Pass.
