Discoveries from the Berlin Museum’s collections: This evening, you will be immersed in the life and work of the most successful graphic artist of the 18th century.

How close can we still get to Daniel Chodowiecki today? His work is comprehensively documented in the Berlin Museum’s Print Collection. The Documents Collection preserves unique sources relating to his life and work, including many personal letters.

Together with Matthias Hahn from the Documents Collection, as well as Karin Dömsky and Dr Michael Bischoff from the Prints and Drawings Collection, you can discover original hand-drawn sketches, prints and manuscripts at close quarters.

The three experts will open the archives for you and provide insights into Chodowiecki’s work that are otherwise rarely available.
