What makes our Earth so unique that life could emerge on it? The presence of liquid water on our planet gives rise to a complex interplay of water cycles, erosion, and weather, which in turn creates a diversity of habitats and life forms.

The audience will gain a comprehensive view of the state of the “Earth system” and what we can do to prevent it from falling out of balance. After all, the consequences—such as climate change—affect everyone.

This event is also part of the theme days “Invisible Worlds: From the Microcosm to the Universe.”
