Erik Drescher and Megumi Hamaya let organ and flute enter into an exciting dialogue with music by Mozart and Nicolaus A. Huber.

Mozart and Haydn created their few organ works not for church organs but for so-called "flute clocks," mechanical musical automatons largely unknown today.
The idea of a musical mechanism is also taken up by Nicolaus A. Huber in his "Clash Music". Huber's early organ work "Rituale" alludes to the often ritualistic character of organ music, but also to ritualized modes of organ improvisation. In "First Play Mozart" for flute, Huber draws on structures from works by Mozart and develops them further.
