People encounter money every day – as a means of payment, a symbol and a promise. But what actually makes something valuable? Who decides this, and what role do power dynamics, moral values and social negotiation processes play?

The exhibition ‘Priceless – Money, Power, Values’ explores the origins and manifestations of money. Drawing on a diverse range of objects from the collections of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation, it tells the story of global interconnections, historical developments and personal experiences.

It was curated on a cross-institutional basis by the trainees of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation.

The exhibition design and scenography are by Atelier Ambient.

A thematic extension can be seen in a themed display case at the Stabi Kulturwerk.
