As part of Middle Ground, the open-mic night ‘Voice, Echo, and Location’ celebrates the power of the spoken word and the diverse ways in which literature conveys experiences of places, memories and a sense of belonging.
In dialogue with this year’s focus on literature from the Himalayas, the evening brings together a diverse range of voices, languages and forms of expression.
Hosted by Ken Yamamoto and accompanied by musical interludes from Pachakuti, the open-mic night invites the audience and participants to listen, exchange ideas and forge new literary connections.
