NoonSong - a choral liturgy every Saturday at noon
With a psalm setting by G.F. Root, an early testimony to American musical history is heard in this NoonSong. Root belongs to the first generation of composers born in the USA. Musically, his psalm setting follows the tradition of the Anglican anthem with organ accompaniment, hymn-like, powerful and textually understandable.
