"Capturing the present" is the motto of this year's Night of Ideas at the Institut français Berlin. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Night of Ideas, the Institut français Berlin is showing the German-French TV series "Lives well Comrades" by Andrei Nekrasov.

Afterwards, the audience can exchange and discuss the series with György Dalos (co-author of the series) and Oliver Mille (producer). 1975-1991: "Farewell Comrades" tells the downfall of the Soviet world on the basis of testimonies.
