2026 marks the 10th anniversary of NIGHT OF THE GUITARS! "Nacht Der Gitarren" brings together the world’s best guitarists for a festival tour (four musicians per show), where they perform their latest original compositions as well as cover versions.

feat. MINNIE MARKS (Australia), ROXANE ELFASCI (France), NIWEL TSUMBU (Congo), ANDRÉ CAVALCANTE (Brazil)

For each tour, “Nacht Der Gitarren” presents a new lineup of guitar luminaries to shape this very special evening with solo, duet, and quartet performances, highlighting the virtuosity and diversity within the world of acoustic guitar. What makes the festival so exciting is that it’s not just a meeting of different cultures, but also a place where younger artists encounter more experienced musicians. It is precisely this mix that makes these concerts so brilliant. Fans of the acoustic guitar always get their money’s worth here, discovering new talents or interesting established artists every time.

Minnie Marks is an exceptional artist: guitarist, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist all rolled into one—an “acoustic tsunami” that cannot be ignored. With explosive guitar skills, a soulful voice, and her innovative foot-drum setup, she single-handedly creates a massive wall of sound that breaks boundaries and gets under your skin.

In 2025, her incomparable live energy was recognized with the title “Musician of the Year” at the Sunshine Coast Music Awards. Numerous other awards, international tours, as well as three studio albums and a live album underscore her status as one of the most unstoppable forces on the scene. Her most ambitious album to date is set for release in 2026—a musical event not to be missed. Experiencing Minnie Marks live means: buckle up, hold on tight, and be amazed.

Roxane Elfasci is a French classical guitarist from Paris, trained at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris under Jérémy Jouve and Gérard Abiton. In addition to degrees in music performance, musicology, and pedagogy, she is pursuing an international solo career. Since 2020, she has released recordings on the Cosmos Music label, including *Hommage à Debussy*, *Poésie Française* (2023), and the *GLASS GAZE* project (2025). She performs regularly at renowned festivals and on radio stations such as Radio France and BBC Radio 3, works as a transcriber and writer for Guitare Classique Magazine, and has over 70,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Niwel Tsumbu is a virtuoso guitarist born in the Congo and based in Ireland, with a unique style blending jazz, classical, rock, folk, and rumba. Praised for his “exquisite and almost seamless” global fusion (All About Jazz), he has collaborated with Nigel Kennedy, Sinéad O’Connor, Buena Vista Social Club, and Baaba Maal, among others. In 2021, he appeared on the Grammy-winning album *They’re Calling Me Home* by Rhiannon Giddens & Francesco Turrisi and is now a member of Giddens’ band.

Tsubu’s music thrives on sophisticated rhythms, virtuoso guitar playing, and rousing improvisation. Touring internationally and firmly rooted in the Irish arts scene, he combines emotional depth with global openness in his compositions—a musical flow that brings cultures, styles, and people together.
