6th Muslim Culture Week
“The New Bremen Town Musicians” is a puppet theatre play by Serkan Öztürk and Sibel Öztürk for children aged six and over. The play is performed in Turkish and German and tells the story of a donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster who are seeking a new life because of injustice.

Drawing on the well-known classic fairy tale, *The New Bremen Town Musicians* emphasises the importance of justice and peaceful coexistence.
In doing so, they specifically engage young audience members, thereby fostering peaceful coexistence in a pluralistic society right from a very young age.
The traditional shadow theatre conveys a fairy-tale-like sense of everyday magical fantasy and specifically appeals to children’s curiosity.
After the performance, the winners of the third children’s drawing competition will be announced, and a selection of the artworks will be exhibited. A creative and exciting afternoon for our youngest visitors, filled with joy, fun and little surprises. Come along and bring your friends!
