It starts off like a perfectly normal day at the office and ends with a dead body in a cardboard box. Claudia has given it her all, yet she is still passed over for promotion. Instead, her sycophantic colleague Hagen gets the promotion. He gets support, of all people, from Dorothee, who suddenly isn’t quite so keen on solidarity anymore. And then there’s Steffi. A bit scatterbrained, a bit naive, but perhaps also more cunning than anyone realises.

Amidst office intrigues, power games and sexist behaviour, the situation escalates. Suddenly, Hagen is found dead in the office. One claims it was self-defence, another says it was an accident, and the third already has a suitable cardboard box to hand. But the more desperately the three colleagues try to coordinate their stories, the clearer it becomes that something doesn’t add up.
Frank Piotraschke’s *Mordskolleginnen* is a scathing office satire full of black humour, surprising twists and a generous helping of madness. A crime thriller about three colleagues who are capable of anything – except telling the truth.
