Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Jörg Widmann
First coffee, cocoa and croissants in the Konzerthaus, then music by Mozart and contemporaries wonderfully played and entertainingly explained in the Great Hall - sounds like a relaxing Sunday morning, doesn't it? The Mozart Matinees are moderated family concerts for all ages 6 and up, which we have on the schedule four times per season.
Meanwhile, for the youngest 3 and up, there's always different musical childcare in the Werner-Otto-Saal.
Works performed:
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Overture to the opera "Le nozze di Figaro" KV 492.
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Adagio for glass harmonica in C major KV 617a
- Ludwig van Beethoven - Symphony No. 7 in A major op. 92
without intermission
