Jörg Klaus’s photographs transform fleeting everyday moments into atmospheric compositions, whose blurring and movement evoke painterly gestures.
Jörg Kujawa, on the other hand, translates photographic impressions of the city, architecture and encounters into multi-layered paintings in which memory and perception merge to form new pictorial spaces. The exhibition demonstrates how photography and painting inspire one another – and offers visitors and collectors a focused view of two approaches that make the moment tangible as an artistic event.
