Kurt Tucholsky, author, journalist and satirist, is probably one of the best-known and most popular representatives of the Jewish intelligentsia before the Nazi dictatorship came to power - and this despite the fact that he had quite a bit of trouble with his origins and affiliation. He was a chronicler of his time and society, his humor equally insightful and folksy.

Sharp criticism of political conditions and biting irony alternate in his work with light love stories and satirical observations of everyday life - a highly sensitive style of writing to which the "Berlin snout" was by no means alien.

For the theater ship MS Goldberg, Julie Wolff, Judith Kessler and
Max Doehlemann have conceived a small revue for the theater ship MS Goldberg, which recalls this great German poet with great cheerfulness but also with melancholy.

  • Julie Wolff, Vocals
  • Judith Kessler, Conférence
  • Max Doehlemann, pian0
