Festival for the senses in the herb garden and art in the tent
The herb garden at Späth'sche Baumschulen invites you to a feast for the senses on the summer solstice. A treasure trove will also be opened: “NEMO's HYBRIDE” is the first exhibition of works by the mysterious artist NEMO. Vernissage with resident DJ Frankie goes to Baumschule.

Midsommar Kräuter is a three-day feast for the senses with over 300 varieties of culinary herbs, medicinal plants, wild perennials and overwintering plants, sheltered from the weather in the production tent and herb tent or in the herb garden. There are also unique pieces of art and junk, rustic garden decorations, studio finds and beautiful flotsam and jetsam.
Opening the treasure trove: NEMO's HYBRIDE - Exhibition
A treasure trove will also be opened for Midsommar at Späth: The mysterious artist NEMO is presenting his extensive collection of expressive objects, paintings and surreal collages for the first time, which he has created - hidden from the public eye - over three decades.Viewers will encounter art that combines organically grown natural elements with man-made technology. Electricity boxes, switches, light bulbs and cables are reclaimed by nature and symbiotically integrated into flora and fauna. What at first glance appears to have nothing to do with each other turns out to be an alternative evolutionary process.
NEMO has cut out another series of three-dimensional murals from an original film set by Jim Jarmusch - having previously helped to design the backdrop for the shoot himself.
The exhibition is enriched by video installations such as NEMO's animated short film “Pandora” and the documentary “Hybride”, an intimate portrait of the shy artist.
