Art Exhibition by Studio Iya & Albrecht Doering

METAMORPHOSIS is a dialogue between collectible design and abstract painting that explores transformation through material, form, light, and perception.

By bringing together sculptural objects by Studio Iya with paintings by Albrecht Doering, the exhibition creates an immersive environment in which art and design merge into a shared experience.

Through marble, bronze, color, and abstraction, METAMORPHOSIS invites visitors to reflect on the constant transformation of nature, space, and human experience.

About the Artists

Studio Iya is a Berlin-based studio for collectible design that creates limited-edition sculptural furniture and functional art. Using marble, bronze, and extraordinary natural materials crafted by Italian artisans, the studio explores the interplay of materiality, architecture, and storytelling. Each piece is conceived as a collector’s item where craftsmanship and contemporary design converge.

Albrecht Doering lives and works in Berlin. His abstract acrylic paintings explore the themes of light, color, and stillness—luminous forms that emerge from deep, monochromatic backgrounds. Through subtle layering and atmospheric compositions, his work creates contemplative spaces that invite quiet reflection and personal interpretation.

Opening Reception: August 21, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Regular opening hours: August 22, 11:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; August 23, 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
