Alternating between laughter and silence, it explores the loneliness of motherhood, the disconnect between one’s former self and the role of mother, inexplicable tears, the chaos of everyday life, and the invisible work of caregiving.
Furthermore, the play offers a glimpse into what it means to be a woman beyond motherhood, under societal pressure and the constant gaze of others.
