Exhibition: Photographs 1970 – 1995
The insider and photographer Manfred Küchler surprises with memorable, authentic children's pictures from a world that no longer exists today: snapshots from a carefree, one might almost say light-hearted life. Children sought and found freedom in their neighbourhood. Immediately after the opening of the Wall, they took possession of the formerly dangerous border area as an adventure playground.

The photographer watches them play, he looks into the school and backyards. Of course he also looks into the neighbouring Volkspark Friedrichshain, an El Dorado for leisure activities and a meeting place for the young Prenzelbergers. Photos as memories for adults who were children at that time.
