MALED IT! – Drag King Workshop (Berlin)

Led by Marilyn Nova White, participants will use theatrical techniques and drag performance methods to explore masculinity as a constructed and performable concept.

This interactive, two-day workshop is an empowering space in which participants can question and reinterpret normative gender concepts through artistic means.

The workshop is aimed at individuals interested in discovering or deepening their knowledge of drag kinging as a form of self-expression that combines technical theatre and make-up skills with socio-cultural discourse.

To make access to cultural education as barrier-free as possible, a tiered pricing system is offered, including reduced-price places through solidarity contributions, thus emphasising the inclusive community nature of the event.
