Liebe? Krieg! : Zwei Einakter von Anton Tschechow (Der Bär & Der Heiratsantrag)
“Love? War” is the new play by the German-Iranian director Raman Allipur. In it, he stages two one-act plays by Anton Chekhov: “The Bear” and “The Marriage Proposal”.
The premiere will take place on 13 November at the Varieté Salon in the ufaFabrik in Berlin-Tempelhof. This will be followed by three further performances.
Raman Allipur was born in Tehran in 1978. He studied directing and acting, directed various TV productions, lectured at training institutes and art academies, served as a jury member at theatre festivals, performed as an actor in Iran, Turkey and Armenia, and has been staging productions based on Anton Chekhov’s works in Germany since 2017.
