One in three people in Germany currently feels lonely at times, and almost half of those aged 19 to 29 report feeling lonely sometimes or frequently. It seems no one is alone in their loneliness.

Can you buy your way out of loneliness? Who profits from it? Or: Who is lonely because they simply don't have the money for tickets, drinks at the bar, or a group vacation? What does loneliness have to do with today's communication habits? And where does the feeling that loneliness is taboo actually come from?

Director Anja M. Wohlfahrt tackles these questions in a participatory theater project by DT Jung*, in which six professional and personal loneliness experts from Berlin will take to the stage to explore the roots of loneliness and the way out of it.

With Clementina Colombina Salvino, Felix von Treuenfels, Laura Grimmer, Ute Mirea, Leon Welke, Rüya Yatkin
