The Little Match Girl
New Year’s Eve. Cold, wind, a girl without shoes. Her slippers are gone, the matches unsold. She lights them, and with every flame a door opens. In the glow of the matches, it is not just warmth that awaits. Encounters await: with herself, with her mother, with her father. What appears behind the doors is neither a vision nor a consolation, but a conversation that was long overdue.
The Little Match Girl
The production takes Andersen’s fairy tale as its starting point for a story about what is passed down between generations: not as a heavy burden, but as a game with an open ending. The roast, the tree and the festive gathering are merely a backdrop here for something greater: the desire to be seen.
The Brave Little Tailor
What do you do with a bloke who heroically kisses the dragon awake and slays the princess? A person who twists everything around, causes chaos and, without realising it, even topples governments from time to time?
There’s only one solution: put him up for auction!
The Brave Little Show-off: Male, mid-30s, approx. 1.85 m tall, house-trained and … low-maintenance!
A man full of surprises and bursting with energy. A man who turns life into a pure adventure! Treat yourself to the luxury of total anarchy, and pick him up here and now at Märchenberg! Three, two, one: he’s yours!
- For adults only – admission from 14 years of age
